What I am trying to achieve is to show people how to cook healthy, easy meals that will help them finish off what they've been doing in the gym and build the body they want. Now, a lot of people who would offer a "get big quick" scheme would show a very muscular individual on the front cover. However these have been taken in a photo shoot scenario and have probably been edited. Whether this is to make the muscles look bigger, or increase the brightness to make them look shiny and even more defined. This makes people believe what they are reading is true and can persuade them to buy a certain product because of this editing. I have therefore used an interview image of my bodybuilder on the front cover. This is to ensure it was not taken place in photo-shoot environment which would show a false representation of the bodybuilder. To me this takes away the dedication and hard work that is involved in the process of bodybuilding. Is is also causes massive financials gains for these fitness and supplement companies, therefore photo manipulation can be very misleading, so I have tried not to do this.
Making people look better than they do can also make people feel inadequate with themselves enough to buy this supposed quick fix supplement or work-out and this is because people think it'll be an easy way out, there is no easy way to personal growth, it takes dedication and time.
Issues with photo manipulation expand beyond the fitness industry however. It is also possible for the media to manipulate images, this is dangerous as the media have millions of people that follow their content. Can you believe everything you see in the papers?

Week 11 File Saving
The first thing I was sure I didn't want to add anything else to was my DVD Logo. I used the Illustrator function save for web to ensure what I was saving would still look as I wanted. Due to it vector image, and me using only a few colours within the entire file, I decided to save it in a .GIF format to keep the file size as small as possible whilst maintaining a good picture quality standard.
I used the Save as web function in photoshop as well to view my image in different formats. I decided to export the document as a PNG-24 to ensure transparency where necessary and keep the image quality at a good level for printing.
I saved my trailer as a .AVI file because it is a recognized file type that can be played on most devices.

Week 10 DVD trailer
My video was running at 1 minute and 1 second exactly. For the purpose of the assignment I needed to run that down to exactly one minute. I right clicked one of my longer video clips in the sequence and selected speed/duration. I could then choose from here how long I wanted the clip to be. I maintained audio and used the ripple delete options to maintain the flow of the whole trailer. 20/04/2015
Upon further thought, I decided that my trailer looked too much like a mini movie as opposed to a trailer. Therefore I needed to add something else to it to make the viewer know there will be more to build upon what they've seen. I added title, once again I made it a still title as I don't like the effects of crawl or roll for cooking, it seems too unnecessary. I added a title, saying there would be more to come over the photo of the finished dish. I did this here instead of as a separate part in the sequence because I thought it'd be good to show that there would be more to come over the delicious dish. 22/04/2015
I decided to add the title of my cooking program, "Live Large". I used an orange font so that it is differentiated between the title of the dish being cooked. 23/04/2015

Week 10 DVD Cover
After looking back at the DVD cover, I wasn't happy with the back cover background. The simple gradient just didn't fit with the rest of the DVD and it started to ruin its whole design for me. Therefore i deleted the layer with the gradient background and duplicated the white wall background front cover layer, renamed it and transitioned it to fit the back cover. This wasn't difficult as the front and back cover are exactly the same size. I've left the spine the same gradient as the previous back cover as I wanted to differentiate between the front and the back. 20/04/2015
